Volunteer job opportunitys

Hosts/Hostesses for drop in coffee/tea morning for Rainbow clients.
When: Monday mornings on a regular basis 9.30-13.00. Two people required to ensure continuity.
Where: St Stephen’s Church Lounge.
What it entails: Preparing and possibly providing refreshments. Welcoming clients; Possibly arranging occasional special activities; Working with other volunteers and advisors.

Befrienders for Seekers of Sanctuary linked to the Rainbow Project .
- An opportunity to be linked to one or two clients to give friendship support. This could include meeting up for coffee, helping them find their way around town and to places of interest. Taking shopping, giving lifts to appointments etc. Car availability useful, but not essential.
- Working under supervision of Asylum Support Workers and Rainbow Project Coordinator. Will require some initial basic training and CIB checks.

Social events organiser
- Are you someone with ideas and some organisational skills?
- Would you like to help our Rainbow Project clients by arranging special trips to places of interest or other social events? Could you coordinate with other groups offering similar social opportunities?
- Could you give a few hours a week and work in cooperation with the Rainbow Project personnel and a Monday morning drop in session at St Stephens with St Paul’s Church?
